Hi, I'm Ric. I am a full-stack software engineer that's worked with a wide range of technologies.

I also arrange a cappella music, and was assistant musical director for Harambee A Cappella, an award-winning, Melbourne-based contemporary pop vocal ensemble.

I'm currently working for Deputy, a rostering, timesheet, and HR software company.

Previously, I've contributed to some of Block's open-source projects when I was working with them, including Wire and the Hermit IntelliJ plugin. I was also working on Cash App's core.

Music

Having been with Harambee A Cappella since 2018, I contributed to the creative team in 2023 and 2024. I've previously directed Himig Sandiwa (NSW), a Filipino choir, and have sung for Soulfood (NSW).

I've been making choral arrangements mostly for Harambee A Cappella, and have published some of them. They are available for purchase here. I am also open to commissioned arrangements; please email me if you're interested.
